Clara could only guess what might be in that present - her long awaited American Girl doll! Actually it isn't, but Madame Alexander is pretty darn close right? And she loves her just as much as she would an AG doll - but i still haven't gotten up the courage to tell her exactly what
kind of doll she is. Some mom....
Woot woot - gosh that thing has been fun. B might like it the most!
Yahoo for legos. i love those big duplo legos. We have three big sets and I wish we had about 5 more. They keep Clara and Grady entertained for hours.
We stayed in our jammies just about all day - even for our afternoon walk. We let the kids watch the muppets Christmas carol - took a long nap and ate yummy food.
I think my favorite part of Christmas this year though was that night - when the majority of the mess was cleaned up, the house was lit up from the tree and a cozy fire (that we finally had fixed this year after an awful 3 years with broken fire place - yahoo!) it was just our little family with some yummy soup and homemade rolls and a candlelit dinner eaten while we were finally able to just chill and be with each other. perfect Christmas night.
