Grady turned 4 in August. I like that boy. He's funny (and unfortunately he knows it) and pretty darn witty for a four year old, creative and the hardest worker I've ever seen for someone his age. I love him to pieces. He pretty easily convinced me that he needed a real birthday cake when we were at the grocery store one day - he saw one with four wheelers on it and wanted it almost more than he wanted any presents. The problem was that he got sick the night we were going to have his party and I was so close to calling up Smiths and ordering it to be picked up on a Sunday....one cake can't be that big of a deal right? But my conscience got the best of me and I decided to cancel the cake and do my best at making one for him like the one he had picked out. Brandon was in charge of his presents this year and got him a pretty awesome (pretty amazingly awesome for a 4 year old especially) remote control car. He was in heaven. He and Clara planned our his party for days. He wanted to have an Olympic party and they made their own metals and came up with 4 different events. I wish I could remember all the names, but the only one thats coming to memory was called "chuggin racer" - where everybody had to race two times around the house as fast as they could. Charley and Joanna's families were there and Jo's sister in law and her two kids, so we had plenty of contestants. Grady was in Heaven. Happy Birthday Baby.
I'm crying right now. I miss you all so much.
